So this morning my tour was forced to NOT see Fifth Avenue. Why? Because a bunch of idiot runners closed it to run the Fifth Avenue Mile (actually closed 2 miles of Fifth)....traffic backed up for blocks & blocks...creating a ridiculous unnecessary traffic nightmare for 35 blocks on a Sunday morning when there is usually NO traffic. Fifth Ave. runs by Central Park....why couldnt they just run in Central Park? They actually had to close one of the most famous streets in the city to RUN? Really???
