So, this painting is on the side of a converted warehouse in Charlottesville, VA, where I work. When my husband and I passed it over the weekend, we noticed theyve added a huge, metal-framework head sculpture off to the side. Is this image as unnerving for anyone else as it was for us? We can tell the artist was aiming for a sense of community and cooperation, but failed on the side of rubbery and ominous. It apparently wraps all the way around the building, but I couldnt find pictures of the other sides or the new sculptured head.
