So this past monday I left the south of france to go to a job I had set up in belgium. After an entire day of walking and hitching to a tiny town of 41 inhabitants to find my host who wasnt responding to any of my latest emails, I reached my destination. With the kindess of other people who i didnt know and could barely communicate with I recieved the help needed to locate the home, only to be informed by the neighbor that they were in luxembourg for several weeks. You may appreciate this more if you have ever been in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country, alone, unable to speak the languqge, and with no place to go. So I did all I could do and began to hitch hike to Germany, where i had a friend, jorn stephan. I stuck out my thumb and the first person to pick me up was a belgin woman. I explained to her my story and how i got to this situation and she tells me that she has friends who host wwoofers about 5 km away. She gave them a call and sure enough they have room for about a week, and now here i am. The family can still only speak french, so it is a little difficult, but trying to communicate is more fun than frustrating and I would consider this situation a miracle. If I had been 5 minutes too soon or too late I would have compmetely missed this opportunity. It is hard to not believe that everything happens for a reason. (I apologize for the typos the french have a different keyboard)
