So this past week I mentioned I would share some info on dating that I learned about in single ministry class at World Changers International Church. Its six steps to dating under grace, The message was delivered by a femal minister who travels all around the world doing seminars on dating under grace and also have numerous books, novels that has been published on dating under grace. So here are the steps. 1.) Being open to socialize zone: During this zone be willing to socialize in single events, meetings, preparing yourself for the type of mate you are expecting, ask questions in social gatherings/meetings, educate yourself. Do not allow a persons appearance block you from socializing with them/be open. 2.) Friendship zone: Get to know the person your interested in. Analyze him/her, pray about the decision if you choose to move forward, make sure that person has all your qualities before moving forward (dont base this just on physical appearance), get to know their family/kids for if you choose to move forward their family/kids becomes yours so if they are not individuals you can see yourself having a future with or your kids having a future with and socializing with them you may want to keep it moving. Pay attention how they handle their personal affairs, careers and their family especially their parents. Make sure you both are saved and ladies dont assume you can ignore this and demand it later and vice versa for men. Do not ignore this zone!!! 3.) Dating Zone: Share personal flaws, issues and deep secrets. Spend quality time together, communicate a lot during this zone, tell each other what your looking for in a husband/wife. Make sure each are willing to compromise with everything from eating dinner to enjoying each other sports and hobbies. Learn a lot about each other during this zone, study them and what small gestures they appreciate the most. During this zone you should know if this is the person you want to marry. 4.) Commitment Zone: Simply committing to each other closing the doors to interest in anyone else, building a foundation to lead to engagement. 5.) Engagement zone: Marriage counseling which should include the basics of understanding of marriage according to the word but also the credit history and score of your potential spouse, finances and how much they earn yearly, HIV/AIDS status, if any children are involved have a session with the kids as well. 6.) Ceremony Zone: In this zone there should be no more questions unanswered about the person your choosing to marry. When those doors open and the bride is looking at her groom the both should know exactly whom they are committing their lives to. *** I may left out some things this is just a short summary of what was taught, I hope you guys like and feel free to respond.. #letstalkaboutit
