So this shindig went down in a big way last night. Im sore. Im tired. Im without voice, so Im literally speechless, but Im not without words. I cannot express how much I love all of you, specifically the people that busted their asses to make things happen and get stuff done. I got a million thanks and a million more hugs last night, but I need to specifically thank Ali, Holly, and Brandi for taking over this shit-show and making it a respectable event. When Caleb and Matt created this event a few weeks ago, I jumped on and was all YEAH! Lets do this! Ive been a part of many many benefits before, but Ive never actually planned one, and I knew we were pretty screwed. But then Ali messaged me and was like, Hey, I want to help! and Spiece was like YEAH! and then there was organization. Ali, Holly, and Brandi gave structure, and helped to organize the awesome people that were pouring in donations and time to make this amazing. I also need to thank Top Shelf Security for donating quite a bit of man-power and man-hours. They, tirelessly, watched over us last night, and in light of recent threats and various posts, essentially were our guardian angels. Thank you, so much, guys. Im forever in your debt. To EVERYONE who is reading this: THANK YOU! I, sincerely, mean it. Im just a voice, an asshole with a microphone, and someone who probably broke the #1 rule at least 5 or 10 times last night. But it is you guys, YOURE the driving force behind events like this, and YOU GUYS are the people who will keep Jakes memory alive. To all the bands who rocked their asses off last night, and Lakeshore Drives super emotional final performance... I love all of you. Also, thank you to Wildflower Studios for these awesome shots. I cant wait to see them all full sized. Ive got a ton of wallpapers coming.
