So this thought has been weighing on my mind. I realize Im opening a can of worms here and am likely to piss everyone off just a bit, but Ive really been trying to back off the political and contravercial posts and Ive debated about posting this one and decided its worth saying. Why do situations like Ferguson polarize people on political lines? Youve got an 18 year old, punk ass kid who thinks its cool to rob convenience stores, VS a trigger happy dumb ass of a cop who never learned self control. Suddenly, if youre a conservative, you take the cops side without question and in your mind, he can do no wrong. If youre a liberal, you take the kids side without question and in your mind, he could do no wrong. This is so incredibly stupid and Id love to see people use their own freakin brains and realize they both did plenty wrong, well never know what truly happened because everyone has an interest to embellish their particular side and were left with conservatives and liberals defaming each other over social media over something that isnt a political issue. How amazing, confoundingly stupid can we be?
