So this video is going around, and Ive had a couple girls message me and ask me about this. Well heres the TRUTH: This is this womans own stupidity. Look at how HUGE that bulb is, she could light up her whole kitchen with it! THIS IS WHY it is so important to be using the correct wattage of bulb in your Scentsy Warmers, and to make sure that you use SCENTSY BULBS ONLY! Im glad nothing happening to this girls house, but the Scentsy warmer was NOT THE ISSUE, her using the wrong lightbulb is the issue. In ALL of Scentsy 10+ years, their warmers have NEVER been the cause for a fire. Its really sad a customer would portray the warmers as being unsafe when it was her own fault for not following the VERY CLEAR instructions that come with every warmer, to use the wattage of lightbulb that COMES WITH the warmer and if that burns out to contact a consultant to get that SAME wattage bulb for that warmer.. not just any old lightbulb. If she wants to make a point with her video she should be making the point that she used the wrong lightbulb - this is what happened - and this is why its so important to use the correct one and wattage. So any of my customers that seen this and are now questioning Scentsy Warmers - dont. I leave mine on 24/7 and I have no fear. I use the correct wattage and make sure the warmers arent in contact with anything that they are standing freely on their own, and I know they wont cause a fire. I stand behind Scentsy, their products, and the 100% safety of their products - one of the main reasons I fell in love with Scentsy.
