So this was a demo game run at our new Hinckley venue, and followed a very similar theme to the Beasts of War Demo Game. Basically Herr Flick has escaped Berlin with the Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies, and a US Strafing run has taken his vehicle out, Russian and British troops on the ground try to secure the site, find the painting and escape to victory! The British started with there artillery barrage and pinned a lot of the Russian forces, only casualties where a couple of inexperienced troops and the army medic. The British without pins ran forward to secure better positions whilst the Russians lingered. Some heavy fire-fights ensued and the Sherman held out at the junction whilst taking heavy fire from the T34, thankfully the dice were very much British this evening. A veteran guard unit knowing the T34 was having a bad night charged the Sherman with Tank Grenades and put it on fire, but got wiped out by the British infantry nearby. The worst was still to come in the fact that after circling for two turns the Russian Ilyushin attached a Russian unit by mistake killing half the unit and pinning them further in the ruins. The British leuitenant managed to get to the burnt wreck and find the objective, as the battle ended, with a clear victory to the British who didnt even lose a complete unit, where as the Russians were left with a Med Mortar, T34, MMG and a unit of inexperienced troops. End result 7 new converts to BOLT ACTION :)
