So, this was strange... Saw a facebook ad for Marsha McLeans website. Clicked on it, because why not? I was curious how the donation process worked (some candidates had non-functioning links) so I went to PayPal. It prompted me to enter in a dollar amount, but it didnt ask for any additional information. So I donated $1. It took me to PayPal. I finished the transaction. Then nothing. It took my money without asking who I was. There was a button to return to the campaign website, so I clicked it. That page said Thank you for your generous donation! and then instructed me to print out a form and snail mail to their PO Box (seriously). So I click on the form, and Im told Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help. Now Im lost. How do I get right with the law? I also feel dirty. Ive made a point not to donate to any campaign in this election. Now Im in the tank. Or better yet, can I get my dollar back?
