So this week has been bittersweet. After 4 1/2 years of running our in-home preschool we shared with our families that we will be closing. My husband has been offered a position with a previous employer and we are grabbing the opportunity, packing up shop, selling our home and moving 12 hours away. We are super excited that we will be living near his family, who moved 3 years ago, as we have missed them terribly. We are also saddened to be leaving family and friends behind. It will be quite the change having only 2 children to look after each day instead of 12. It will be so quiet. I didnt expect the roller coaster of emotions that we would go through this week but we brought this adventure upon ourselves so we are hanging tough. Thats right, I just said hanging tough. Im not one to turn down an adventure, especially if it seems to include challenges so Im pulling up my big girl panties and diving right in. Im excited to see where the future takes our little family and we could definitely use all prayers and happy thoughts because I anticipate the next month is going to add a whole new aspect of crazy to our already crazy world ;) Have you ever made a big move with your family? Any tips or advice?
