So, this whole marathon training season Ive tried something new...running every day on an empty stomach. Doesnt matter how long the run, I made sure I fueled up the night before and Ive found no sign of fatigue or loss of energy while running. My chi running coach mentioned, no one has ever died from hunger on a run which Im sure is true lol and it take hours for food to get through the digestive system anyway to be of any use (plus the body has to use energy to digest the food when it could be using that energy to help me run! lol). Happy to keep learning about what helps my body perform its best. Nyc marathon in ten days! 60k ultra marathon in 26 days! So excited!!!! :):):)
