So thrilled with my new Surface 3 Pro Tablet... Weve been struggling with Matty doing online speech therapy at home (he is not a fan but it is important for him to keep some kind of summer connection to the school so they provide speech as an extended school year program for him). But today... Oh, today! We just stopped speech. He was doing so good and was so easy to work with that we did 40 minutes (instead of struggling thru 20 minutes). We used my new tablet... Sat on the front room floor in front of the tv using the front facing camera in a Skype sort of set up with his speech therapist. When he got an answer right I gave him the Xbox controller and he hit play and watched a few minutes of Thomas the train. Speech lady would have kept going but I wanted to stop while he was still happy so he wouldnt dread it tomorrow. Easy peasy. You know what that means? My new tablet is a medical deduction now for therapy! Woo-hoo! I love it when something works for my little man! And then, he gave me a no-binky on-the-lips kiss right on camera for speech lady to see.... Thought she was gonna cry. Happy day
