So to all of you out there considering transporting a pet, let me share my experience with Jet Pet. I booked a service from Cairns to Canberra $480.00. Fair enough, puppy was dropped off at 0800 at Cairns, due to a delay with the plane the dog sat in his crate for two hours. He subsequently missed his flight in Brisbane and hence arrived in Canberra two hours late. A six month old puppy sat in a crate for ten hours strait no wee break, no water, nothing. I have begun the complaint process and have so far been offered $ 100.00 to settle this matter. Jet Pet have told me that it is not there fault and the airline should have notified them . A warning here to all be aware of what you pay for and what you get....
