So today...I do my routine after work in Uniondale....hit Dugans for 2 beers ...a salad and chat with Samantha or Sonjia...study my CDL and shoot a game with any unlucky taker..ahahah!!!!!....A postal worker who I see every Monday is leaving...ad Joking I go.." Yo where`s my mail ..haven`t gotton any in 3 days !!!!???....he laughs says.."I drive a tractor trailer ...not a postman...;-) "....I say..Please give me 5 minutes of your time for a cold one..??? "...He walks over how him my CDL book..and tell him.." test next Sat...any pointers ya can throw my way..?"...Over stress all aspects of your pre trip so your tester knows ..you know what your doing...if asked to back up...STOP....put on your parking Brake..an get out to check..he will probably ...what your doing?...and you tell him checking to see if it is safe to do so...He will probably say we are okay continue...Stay alert call out all crossings bridges and overpasses...never go above 5 mph down hill of the posted limit..."...You seem determined ...You`ll be fine... "..."Thank you so much I said and drive safe"...."Bill" he says..."John.....And yes I know that is usually the first words I replied"....;-)...best 3 $ I ever spent !!!!
