So today I found out that my mom had been in the ER since last night because she swallowed a fish bone and felt like it was stuck. Apparently after a series of procedures they determined that its not there and everything is fine. After scaring the shit out of me by texting me this today nonchalantly because she thought I had already known she was in the hospital, I finally talk to her on the phone after everything has been resolved. My mom says, Yeah Im gonna let you go cause they have my dinner. I picked salmon, gotta get back on that horse you know? This is where I come from.
