So today.. I had an interesting first time experience.... They say there is a first time for everything... let me ask you... Have you ever had a gasoline bath??? Yeah... sounds weird I know.. but I just had one... While hosting the Mid Day Call with Tracey Walker ... I was sitting in the car while gas was pumping and right when I began speaking, I hopped out the car to pull the pump out of the car, to hang it back on gas portal... (this is what was happening on my side of the world Tracey, while we were on the call!) Welp, the little self-pump latch got stuck, and when I went to unlatch it, I thought it had raised up... little did I realize, it was jammed, and I pulled the pump out to soon to have a gasoline shower..... and it got on me everywhere... OMG.. shoes, socks, pants, shirt... and I had to stop it from pouring, while trying to wrap up the call and avoid gagging from the smell of gasoline on me everywhere... So I did just that, while racing home to get this gas off of me before someone lights a match in my midst... (this would of been good for reality tv).... I hopped in the car, darted home to hop into the bath tub while chunking the clothes in the washer machine (maybe that was a bad Idea.. i probably should have thrown them away).... And scrubbed the daylights out of my skin... all the while... IM STILL ON THIS FRIGGIN CALL.... It was an experience to say the least... but I still managed to make it to chuck e cheese in time to meet my little man so I can sit down to have lunch with him (which was my goal to begin with).... But now my car smells like gasoline, I have a headache from the annoying smell and no matter how many times I wash my hand..... it stinks and wreaks with gasoline! Moral to the story: Get the heck off the phone while pumping gas or get off of the call altogether. Unfortunately I was committed to a call with nearly 100 people expecting me to be there so in my attempt to multi-task.... I had an epic gas pumping fail.... Know this: Multi-Tasking Sucks... its not a good trait to have... so whenever you get caught in a similar circumstance, think of me and my gasoline shower! What would you have done if this happened to you?
