So today I learned a VERY hard lesson about April Fools Day. I, being the smart one, thought that I was going to get even with my husband by waiting until today-this lets him think that I let it go, right??? So, while he was at work, I went into the kitchen, carefully wrapped a pony-tail holder around the kitchen sprayer (even taking time to select a holder that was white to match the sprayer and not be noticed), and I then sat back and waited for the hilarious spraying that was going to happen as soon as he turned on the water. He comes home, goes straight to the sink to wash his hands, and...NOTHING! Thats ok! I told myself. Ill fix it as soon as he walks away! So I dont say a word, and get back to Bais sign language homework, and refereeing between kids. Around 7, Maci is flipping out for Macaroni, so because Im a good momma, thats exactly what she is getting, lol. Wouldnt you know it?!?! I got so stressed from the crying and whining that I go straight to that dang faucet, flip it on high, and soak not only myself, but my already crying 2 year old! At this point, Im standing there being steadily soaked, along with the EXTREMELY loud baby, and by the time I FINALLY shut the water off, I turn to look at Mac who has busted out laughing at the sight of my carefully placed pony-tail-holder. All he could say between laughs was, Uhhh-Huh! You thought you had me huh? That, along with Maci SCREAMING It NOT funny! I WET, definitely taught me a lesson! I officially resign from April Fools!
