So today I watched one of the dullest films I have ever seen (Mr. Turner) - it would have better watching a painting of a storm dry. The acting was top notch, the period drama elements of clothing and language were amazing and entertaining but there was no story - no drama, just a series of unrelated events. Then I went again to the cinema and watched one of the most clever, well-plotted, well-acted dramas I have ever seen - Christopher Nolans Interstellar. It was like watching the best ever Twilight Zone episode, or reading something by Ray Bradbury or Asimov. It was sci-fi at its best - where the story is forefront. It was an adventure story, a who is the real good guy drama, and a love story between a dad and his daughter. Just wonderful!
