So today at jury duty I was called into a courtroom where there was a snobby looking older couple apparently sewing a kid for a collision a while back. Now from the beginning this couple had a real angry I want my money type of demeanor to them. they were dressed with these fancy looking Taylor made suites on while the kids attorneys had frizzy hair and an absence of order and organization. So the judge felt the need to ask if I felt the plaintiff and the defendant seemed to have a fair playing field. I promptly responded with a NO! Due to the fact that the plaintiffs were older and more financially stable that they had more money to throw away at the case thus coming out on top. The court room stood silent with the occasional chuckle due to my blunt yet understandable comment.... And just like that I was kicked off the jury!! Ta da!! I guess its not what they wanted to hear? I won that round court house!! And a good thing too cause it was said to last three weeks :o
