So, today is #Wednesday, lets get that out of the way first - TopicsExpress

So, today is #Wednesday, lets get that out of the way first thing:)! And, hey! I got the day right! I have to tell you that when you work non stop seven days a week, the days just melt into each other. Its been a tremendously hard week for me, having to deal with the perfect storm of prom and bridal. I would like to thank my clients for working with me with my tremendous work load and for being patient when I need to reschedule you. I know its an inconvenience when I do that but I need time to do the job correctly. There are just some things that you cant rush. I just need to vent a little today. Those of you who know me, know how much I work and know what I am capable of doing. Those of you who dont know me dont trust as easily, I get that. But I love this business so passionately. I just have to say this. If I didnt love this business and what I do I wouldnt take as much abuse as I take from some people who have no confront. Thats all Im going to say about that. So I said what I came to say and now Im going to let it go and move forward with people who actually appreciate me. Melanie Koch, when you wanted me to make the skirt of your wedding dress a DETACHABLE high low, I did, and it was hard, but I did. Coral Robards, when you wanted me to make your dress strapless, with a corset back with flutter chiffon sleeves for the vintage, gothic look you wanted, I did. Michele Cesolini, when you wanted me to take the lining out of your dress and reline it with chiffon and rebead your entire dress with more rhinestones and silver, I did. I could go on and on and on and on about how many dresses I have redesigned when they came in when a bride had a special vision. One of these days I will attempt to count how many dresses I have done over the past thirty plus years. That will be fun. So if you want me to do a dress alteration on a dress that will take me six hours to do in less than the two week time period that is the normal turn around period for alterations and you schedule for a day that is already booked with 27 appointments with people who have waited the two week turn around and you get angry because I know that is a near impossible task for me to accomplish and I try to reschedule you for Saturday, which is a day I dont normally schedule fittings, but Im willing to do it for you because thats the only day in my world that I can actually work the six hours needed to do the dress correctly , and you say no, its Thursday or nothing, what would you have me say? So pray for me today because I need to exercise patience I dont have, grace to persevere, tolerance of ignorance, and energy to do the work I need to do today and tomorrow. Jussaying.
