So today is important for two reasons. First, it is Jared Atkins 14th birthday! I never want him to feel like it gets lost in the midst of my election. He is a straight A student, outstanding athlete and great kid. I hope you have an awesome day buddy and I love you so much. Second, its election day and I want to personally thank all of you that have encouraged and helped me during this election. THANK YOU ALL! Today you will have the opportunity to choose someone that has always tried to help others no matter how small an issue. Someone that has been there for our district when it comes to funding our volunteer fire companies, senior centers, Gumboro Community Center, and the Nanticoke Indian Association. Someone that has always supported our vital agriculture community and charitable organizations. I couldnt do all of this without your help. Together, we have passed common sense legislation like, HB360, the dialysis bill that will make the 8000 patients statewide much safer, the child internet protection act that I we wrote, the bill I sponsored to give EVERY Delawarean the basic right to fly the American Flag regardless of HOA rules and the bill to make it illegal to protest a military funeral. We can be proud of the positive campaign we ran. We stayed on message without running negative ads or smear tactics. We shined in two on air debates and hit almost every door in the district. In other words WE WORKED HARD, YOU AND I TOGETHER. Please share this on your page to help spread our message.
