So today is my Birthday... Wow!!! Im getting old, but as I reflect back over 41 years Ive noticed that some of my deepest pain has gifted me with my greatest lessons... truth be told, life isn’t always easy; but if you happen to stumble across a blessing in disguise especially in your mess, that means God has a purpose for your life... Rest assured LIVING comes with plenty of heart aches, sacrificing and plenty of failure along the way... It aint easy keeping these demons thats inside of me on lock-down...Even the happiest people are not immune to hard days, heartbreak, or feeling like a fool! The difference is they turn frustrations into fuel and rebuild from the pebbles they discovered after hitting rock bottom. Am I perfect? Heck No, but thats what I done and its been a hellava journey. I would like to think that Im knocking on the door of my BREAK-THROUGH. And the only way to get to that break through is to GOD-THROUGH... Trust me I know its hard, but God said in Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness... And after having been through so much in my life, I have to believe that... Thats the only thing that makes any sense. Ive learned that Most people want the reward without the risk. The shine without the grind... But let me tell you something. You can’t have the destination without the journey, so here is some 41 year old advice... If you want the benefits of something in life, you have to also want the costs. The same walls you build to protect yourself will also imprison you if you build them too high. And if you REALLY, REALLY wanna know whats keeping you from happiness, and what’s holding you back, look in the mirror... Its You… and only YOU 99% of the time. The toughest battles you will ever fight will start right between your own two ears... Thats where the enemy strikes first... There are a lot of things that are going to get in your way in life, but don’t let yourself be one of them. Life is a “Practice,” not a “Perfection”… and it’s only coming around once. This is IT!!! So make it count, and live fully while you’re here... And thats all I gotta say about that... #boughtsense
