So today is the day!! Finally off to Canada this evening with the biggest race of my life only 8 days away! I have lived and breathed the swim, the bike and the run for the last 8 months with Canada as my focus. It has been a amazing journey - not always an easy one - but I wouldnt change any of it. I have been blown away and overwhelmed by the support I have received along the way. Thank you to everyone who has been there for me by way of financial and moral support, to those who have given me gear, lent me gear, put a roof over my head and food in my tummy, to those who have swum with me, biked with me and run with me, to those who have helped me overcome my injuries and mechanical issues, to those who have hugged me and told me to go home before midnight because I have to get up at 6am to ride, to those who have talked to me and given me advice, to those who have held my hand through the hard bits and smiled with me through each little victory, I couldnt have done it without you! Thank you!! My goal is to race to the best of my ability and come home knowing I gave it my all and to make you all proud of me. Wish me luck!
