So today on the 700 club there was a story of a man in a small plane that lost power just after takeoff and plunged over 100 miles an hour toward the ground. No hope. The plane hit the ground and cartwheeled to a stop. The man was soaked in airplane fuel and on fire head to toe. He cried out to God. The story was like my brothers crash but Charlie somehow landed his airplane upright. Im so thankful there was no fire. Over and over I just watch the short segment of the reenactment in the cockpit of the plane going down. I think of what they went through. It hurts my heart. Im happy that even with injuries Brenda, Kate and Jake are alive. Im so very desperately sad that the impact killed my brother. Charlie was valuable to everyone that knew him. His kids and grandkids adored him. He was honored and needed at his job and with folks in his life. I hate to come out and say that it doesnt seem fair. I can only turn to God while I miss my good brother.
