So today started off beautifully. Kids were dressed. The final morsel of breakfast was swallowed on time. Arranged to work from home to be able to take my cat to the vet at 8:30. One problem. My keys were not in my purse. A mad dash, ample amount of cursing and I phone call later uncovered that they were in Pittsburgh with my husband over an hour away and wasnt sure how fast he could get home. Cancelled the vet appointment, told daycare wed be late - really late and emailed my sons teacher to say that he would be late. It couldnt be that far right? Well, its two miles across a very hilly city moving at a three year olds pace. Thankfully, my husband arrived just as the rain was starting and we were several blocks from the school. At least I didnt have to walk him to daycare. Thats how the morning started. It ended with me never shopping at a major retailer again. Tomorrow is picture day. Ill have to find something here. Im not fit to be in public. And wine is not on the menu. Is it a fullmoon?
