So today started off pretty rough. I was told I have an office call with one of the GOs on post. Considering I dont have a DUI, nor was I told to bring my ORB (indicating a potential job interview) it was pretty self explanatory. After lunch I was informed that my office call was actually on Thursday (vice this afternoon as I originally thought). Needless to say, I find myself at a cross roads, knowing that in a few days Ill be told my time in this mans Army is coming to an end. Im torn between a new beginning, and the comfort and security that the service provided my family and I. Im not sure where Ill be this time next year. Im not sure what Ill be doing. But Ill remember the good times-- and the bad-- that the army provided. Ill make my peace with this and reflect that for a short time in my life, I was able to affect young mens and womens lives and had a positive impact on some great people. Thank you to my friends and family for your support through this last decade and a half. I look forward to being closer to many of you in the near future. #NewBeginning
