So, today was Googles I/O Keynote.@Wired lays it all out beautifully..and if you read this, you will understand exactly why you need to establish a video channel position on client, The Design Network , right now. wired/2014/06/google-io-keynote/ Interestingly and disturbingly, however, not one word was mentioned about their plans for Google+ in their keynote. This blogger from Sweden noticed it, too, who runs the largest Apple Community on G+. See what he had to say, here: svartling.net/2014/06/not-word-about-google-on-google-io-2014.html Although I definitely have a few eggs in the Google+ basket, this is why you never put ALL your eggs in one #socialmedia basket. Googles play is mobile, to compete with Facebook, and, only to the extent that G+ can succeed on mobile, will they, in my opinion, continue to devote engineering resources to developing Google+. I DO expect Hangouts On Air to continue -maybe eventually as a stand alone Google product because they flow to You Tube, owned by Google, the largest search engine in the world. Advice: put your home related video content onto client The Design Network, TOO. Why? Who do you think might buy The Design Network, eventually? Who has an interest in ChromeCasting on their Smart TVs and Android mobile phones the best in home related video programming? Yep. You guessed right.
