So today was Matthews stroke clinic. Neurology feels he is doing exceptionally well and had you told him he would do the things he is after his stroke and the amount of seizures he was having they wouldnt have believed it. I also talked to them about how the school is pushing for an MD class for him in school after he enters kindergarten. Everyone I talked to about it there was shocked they even brought that up as an option. He is communicating so much and unless you tell them they cant tell he has anything wrong with him. So the game plan is to get a new neurophysiology test done on him this spring before they make a plan for kindergarten. They said they can even call in to the IEP meeting to be a voice for me. With the neurophysiologys report we can suggest other options such as an aide in the class and such. Over all he had an excellent check up though!
