So today was an interesting food day for the kids. We tested out the new Taco Bell breakfast. Zoey was not having it when we walked in the door and they didnt have biscuits like McDonalds or traditional breakfast like WH, IHOP or Cracker Barrel. So we ordered a variety to see if it sucked. She ate one of everything. Awww, the glory that is bacon. I am going to put bacon and cheese on everything I make and she will eat it no doubt. #kidcholesterol So at dinner Adam stepped in and cooked so I could finish The Sorting Project that Saved the World. Baked chicken legs, baked potatoes, green beans, wheat bread and oranges. (GREAT JOB DAD!) we played the ticket game. One ticket to try it (lick or minuscule bite.) 3 tickets to eat the whole thing. She needed to earn at least 20 tickets to get to play Zoeyland with mommy after her shower. That kid ate two green beans, almost all the chicken and tried the potatoes. Of course she ate the bread and oranges too. It was like a clinic where I had to watch her take each bite and show me her empty tongue after. Shes a sly one and will do anything to earn those tickets including tasting and then spitting it in her napkin when I turn my head. I am proud of her. The key is to convince them to try the foods, then we can go from there. Im saving this one for her memory book so when shes a mom struggling with a toddler I can show her this and laugh and laugh and laugh.
