So today we said till we see you again to Belle, our oldest family member. She passed on peacefully in my arms with Meg by her side. Her tail wagged and giving kisses to any face that drew near. I know not everyone gets the attachment some have with their dogs or cats, and I feel sorry for those who do not know the unconditional love of a pet. Belle was by no means a perfect dog, she was Belle, and in the end I would not have had her any other way. When we returned home with Hannah tonight, we were greeted by Rilee, who we felt knew something was up, she searched for her sister and eventually was greeted by Hannah who hugged her, we wept. It will take time for the little things to not make a tear fall or us to not ask where is Belle? and that is ok, they also make us smile. She always made us smile and laugh, until the end. That was our Belle. Thank you to all for your thoughts, prayers and amazing words today and throughout this ordeal. We know while Belle isnt here begging for food, snuggling, licking us or any of the other things she did, she is here with us in spirit. Belle, We miss you already and love you still and forever you will be our Jingle Belle. Love mom, dad, Rilee and Hannah
