So today, we were wrapped nice and early from the set, and we got checked out at about noon:thirty or so. nice. The make-up folks had dirtied us up a bit to suit their vision of shipyard factory workers; dirty hands and faces, old clothes, hard hats, flannel, etc. So when I got in my car and headed out, I kinda forgot that my face was covered in grime. So on the way home, I popped into Guitar Center for a few quick things, still not thinking about it. Got home, unpacked, realized I was hungry, went to lunch... still not realizing... After lunch, I went on a brief Q wander, ran into a guy I know that had just opened a shnazzy new restaurant on Toulouse, he gave me the nickle tour... ...still completely oblivious to my face grime (and shipyard factory smell)... Popped in at Rouses for some liquid refreshment... still not realizing... Got home, plopped my stuff down... then I noticed the cats were intently sniffing around at my jeans... looked in the mirror... Oh... Crap... Those folks must have thought Id forgotten how to bathe!
