So today while I was enrolling Anthony in middle school, I decided to be the proactive parent and attend a PTA meeting. They were looking for someone to be treasurer and I decided to nominate myself. I was up against this lady named Christine so we had to give a speech before the rest of the parents casted their votes. Of course I was very animated, enthusiastic, giving a motivated Obama speech followed by a YasmSpasm dance. I won by one point (13 / 12) Soooo happy to be a part of something. I had to go to the bank so they can add my name to the school account to have authorization of transaction only to find out I cant because Im in the chex system thanks to the foolery of my sperm spitter in the past. My baby daddy: still inconveniencing my life since 2001. Lol. I have to laugh it off because in reality i feel set back still feeling repercussions of my past. But that will not stop me from being part of the PTA. My goal is to use my creativity to raise as much money for the school as I can and make school fun for all kids. #Turndownforwhat
