So, today/yesterday (depending on where in the world you are) marks the 175th anniversary of the release of the first practical photographic process patent to the public, a move which allowed photography to become available across the world. Photography is now accessible to nearly every single person on the planet, and the invention of what has become one of the most widespread and beautiful forms of communication is something that we think is worth celebrating! Do so by getting out and taking photos of the things that you love to photograph, and maybe enter a picture or two in the Walch Optics photo ***OF THE CENTURY*** competition to try and knock Francis out of the number 1 spot.
