So, tomorrow is going to be my last Christmas. After the one last effort Im telling all concerned that Im withdrawing my support for, and participation in, Christmas. This means. I will not be going to any christmas events, not just the theme, but also the time of year. I may have one or two people over for a nice dinner and drinks, from time to time, but far more likely Ill spend the time in isolation. I will not be engaging in any gift giving activities, save for children under 12. I like giving gifts. But only when I feel the gift is well thought out and special to the recipient. I hate deadlines for gifts, it means if what I want to give is unavailable, or theres nothing that inspires me, I am obligated to give a what I consider to be a substandard gift. Also, I will not be accepting any gifts. Turn about is fair play, and I despise gifts of obligation. If you see something that you think is perfect for me and its christmas time and you really want to give it to me? Wait four months, see if you still think that way. Thats it. Its fairly simple and straight forward. One wouldnt expect much trouble as a result, would you? ... ... ...Ill post my familys reactions online if enough people need the laugh.
