So tomorrows the day when 120 little pre-schoolers arrive at our farm-school and we hardly feel prepared for it. To think that a huge load of parents, including a principal from a local school and a couple of ANC officials have chosen our school for their children to attend says something about the condition of schooling in the area. Well, no matter how anyone wants to interpret that is of no real consequence as the important thing is to maintain the vision of why we are here and the privilege it will be to raise and instill life changing skills into their lives. If there is anything Id like to put out there to my friends to dwell on, its that we are leaping forward in a bold step of faith to build very basic external classrooms to alleviate the stress of the farmhouse itself as it already homes a family of abused and rescued children which Sharon takes care of - which means we need building material in every form it comes in. From second hand windows and doors to roof sheeting - well collect! Once again well also be requesting food provisions to help towards feeding the children on a daily basis. Ill post some pics of the little people tomorrow to give you a better idea about this amazing charitable ministry. Have a super week folk!!
