So tonight I had to go to Wal Mart and I swear it was like a dream. I got out of my car, of course looking a hot mess and this lady looks at me with a kind smile and says have a good night, of course I said it back and thanked her while thinking to myself...Meghan...you got to do better. Well I get on in the store a very well put together black lady looks at me and says, God loves you and God bless. Taken by surprise I said thank you. Then a 3rd lady who was not with any of these people looked at me and said God bless you be blessed and have a good night. By then I am extremely overwhelmed by the blessings and out pouring of love. As I was standing in the return department I was thinking about our society. This world. All 3 of those ladies made a effort tonight to speak tonight all 3 of those ladies were definitely from low end economical spectrum to very high end economical spectrum and they were all black ladies. This shooting in Missouri has gotten so much media attention its sad, I have not wanted to believe that a cop killed purposely because why? I am white and I am a retired cops daughter. I like to believe that cops are there to protect and serve. But now I am seeing mean, cruel racial jokes about this boy. He has a mom thats grieving the loss of her baby. The cop has a mom thats grieving the loss of her sons potential future. Tonight was a reminder that no matter what we all bleed red..we all have people who love us and there is only one heaven and one hell. I am not sure what happened tonight or why but those ladies blessed my heart and soul.
