So tonight I went to my parents house for dinner. I knew it had something to do with my birthday but nonetheless I had to play along. As it was we had Peanut Butter Cupcakes and ice cream. My favorite as a little boy. Along with that I had 2 bud lights. My favorite as a teenager. On top of that I had a Captain and Coke. My favorite in my 40s. And to my surprise I got to stand outside the garage as my dad hit the opener only to see a new set of drums. My favorite as far back as I can remember. Its been 20 years since I played drums and it definitely showed but I can not wait to get them to the gym to put them to use. It may be kinda noisy at 4:30 Am or 9:30 PM just to let you know. Thank you so much, Mom, Dad, Mel, Nancy, Jamen, Jamey, Darsi, Mitts, Dar and Mike, I cant thank you enough and Im sorry in advance for some really bad drumming thats about to come from the south side of town for the next month or two. xo to all.
