So tonight at work I had an older lawyer that needed his tire - TopicsExpress

So tonight at work I had an older lawyer that needed his tire changed on his Honda Pilot (S.U.V.). I arrive and fill out the paperwork before I even get out of the company vehicle. I hand the paperwork to him and ask him to sign, print, and date the said paperwork. He takes one look at the paperwork and asks what it is, to which, I replied that it was a liability waiver that since I was changing his tire for free of charge he wouldnt sue me or the company if any damage were to happen. He proceeds to sign so I start getting out my tools and proceed to set up. Once I am set up I walk over to him and take the paperwork from him and noticed that he had rewritten parts of it and scribbled out parts of it (to which he initialized his corrections) to make it where the company and I would be solely responsible for any damage. I looked at him and said that I couldnt help him if he didnt sign the original version of the waiver. He looked at me and said that then he didnt want my help. I said OK, packed up my stuff and left him stranded in the garage to fend for himself. This happened at 17:30 and I just checked ten minutes ago his vehicle is still there with the same flat tire. Some people are just crazy.
