So ... tonight is the eve of the eve. Tomorrow, I will go to George Squ and surround myself with posiitivity. Some may think I am wrong, but from now in, I am disconnecting myself from the barage of information ... I have made my decision ... and it is a resounding YES . The last couple of days, I have been thinking and reflecting . I left school in 1982 .. aged 16 ... just as Thatcher and her cuts began to take effect. I watched as my future shrank before my eyes, and I saw the industries that had supported my hometown, and countless others like it, close down ... and the communities suffer and break down. I worked hard and asked nothing from no one, who wants to be reliant if need be ? ..... But it seemed the harder I worked, the less I got. Property got more expensive, the cost of living rose ... but my wage did not. Then .... we were told things were better ... I was unsure, but everyone seemed to agree ... so I just kept on working. Then .... banks crashed, economies wabbled, the water had washed away the sand..... Ah ... I thought ... now surely things must change ? .... the emperor has been seen to be naked..... But no ... the emperor still insisted he was wearing ermine ... and it was the poor and the disabled and the immigrants that were to blame .... know what ? .... this time had to come ... it has been a hard road for me and so so so many like me ... but I am glad I have walked it to get to where we are today ... at a point in our history that we can take control ... be self governing .... force our politicians to create a better, fairer ... more caring society .... we can do this ... and we must do this .... we should be proud of what we have made this campaign ... and we will be even prouder of what we do with our country come Independence .... what are your thought as we come to the last day ? ....
