So tonight was the culmination of what has become an annual ritual around our house ... going to see Miriam perform in the St.George Ballet Companys production of The Nutcracker. This is the third year in a row Miri has had a part, so we always pick one performance and let everybody know that is the night we are going. If you ask James, the highlight of the evening is going to Iceberg for shakes afterwards. At any rate, despite what photographic evidence might lead you to believe, we both love going to the ballet to support our daughter/sister ... Ahem, anyway ... this song is dedicated to my wife Samira and daughter Miriam, who LOVE The Nutcracker. And to all the guys out there like James and I, who go to see The Nutcracker every year ... sigh.
