So true! I find my self more concerned with how Owen treats his brother and his friends than if he is sleeping in his own bed or knowing all his letter sounds at 4. I read some where else a personality is set in a lot of ways by 5 years old. I try to help Owen see that he can do a lot on his own if he tries hard. We also talk about how his actions make other people and himself happy or sad. I try to circle it around God and pleasing him. Motherhering is endless! (but amazing)
