So true. The came to us in America, Dirty, Homeless, needing Water, Food, Medicine, Shelter. They didnt ask for permission. They didnt pay for our Lands. They killed more than they needed. They built on the Bones of our Ancestors. They dug up our precious Mother Earth. They polluted our Pristine Waters. They put up Fences and Walls on lands claiming them as their Own. They rape our Women. They enslaved our Peoples. They forced us to work for them, cutting off the Limbs of those who refused. They brought disease where there was none. They made false promised on papers we couldnt understand. They imprisoned our children in Schools, forcing them to cut their Hair, beating them to submission, mocked our Spiritual Beliefs. They forces us to accept their Books with false Gods, or we would starve. They made us learn their Language and imposed Restriction of necessities if we used our own Language. They promised us Free Food, Free Health Care, Free Medicine. Free Homes and our own Lands if we lived where they wanted us to Relocate. They broke every Treaty or Agreement they wrote with Lies by Corrupt Politicians. In 500 Treaties they Broke, we the First Americans, broke not one? And yet, they want us to Celebrate the Theft of our Lands in our Country on 4th of July? On Thanksgiving? On Christmas? On Halloween and Easter? What do these Holidays do to feed and cloth our People. What do these Holidays to do pay for all the Broken Promises. What does the Celebration of your Government, when you Destroyed hundreds of thousands of Villages, Settlement and our Tradition places of Lodging? How do we Honor our Culture, by Honoring yours? I just dont get it? Maybe, you can explain it to me in a Language I will finally Understand? My People have been waiting for this Response and Apology for over 500 years, is this the Year?
