So two days ago ,with a smile on my face and joy in my heart, I put out the outdoors Christmas decorations and prepared to enjoy them for the next 6 weeks or so BUT.....by last night the pains had begun. The little tree I placed with love between the light up Santa and Frosty the Snowman fell over about 50 times. 49 times I went outside in the pouring rain to stand him back up. The 50th time (mind you I am soaking wet by now) I pulled the plug on Mr. Tree and brought him inside. He currently stands (leans) in a corner waiting for someone smarter than I am to figure out a better way to keep him standing. Guess that counts as pain one. THEN, just as Ive finally dried off and calmed down a bit, half of the lights decorating the deck railing went out. Not all, mind you, so it wouldnt look completely stupid....HALF. The season is not off to a good start and I may need an attitude adjustment before it is over.
