So update on this little guy... He was found as a stray and has been at the shelter for 2 weeks. Hes mostly blind, loads of health problems and a volunteer said she believes hes in his final days. They keep wanting to euthanize him at the shelter but I cant let that happen. The old guys break my heart and it kills me to think of them spending their final days in a shelter :( And since no one wants an old guy who wont be here long, Ive decided to go adopt him myself. I tried to find someone else to do this because mike and I are still very fresh from saying goodbye to Reese and this will be very hard, but no one stepped up and its the right thing to do. So we have to give this guy a loving home for as long as he has left, and make sure when its his time, he doesnt suffer and he is in loving arms for his last breath. If anyone would like to offer a name suggestion for this old man, Id love to hear it!
