So upset. Just watched a father and son surfing and father got out but son got into trouble. Father wen track in to help his sine and they battled for 45 mins. Clive and I eventually ran to the next beach to call lifeguards and found one of them washing his personal vehicle with the fire hose at the back of the lifeguard house this is 2.30 pm in the afternoon! He looked up and said "but they are coming out now" which was true but after the youngster of about 15 had battled with his father for 45 or so minutes! It could so easily have turned into an unnecessary tragedy. Ballito life saving was investigated by Carte Blanche previously I believe.
