So very interesting day at work yesterday. One of our own Redding residents/ ER9 bus driver ( like myself) let a JBHS student off at his house, went around the block , child comes running back to the bus. I think someone broke into my house and theyre still in there. Dave, the bus driver, radios in for police, keeps the child safe on the bus and then witness the suspect leaving the home ( on foot) and follows from afar and gives a description to police. Police come and apprehend the guy and retrieve the bag of jewelry he threw in the woods!!! Great job to Dave and the very smart student who had the great sense to run back to the bus!! We got to listen to the whole thing unfold on the bus radio. Cool Watch news 12 tonight😃
