So very proud of my son Corey marching with Boys Brigade in the Remembrance parade. The Last Post gets me every time a long with The National Anthem. This year was particularly an honour as Corey marched with a VC. As a family we all go to remember those fallen and those who are currently on active duty. I am proud of my brother Darren Northall and his mate James Staunton who served together in the RAF. They did tours in the Falklands and Northern Ireland ( in times of trouble ) and am extremely proud that my brother was awarded a Gulf War medal for serving in the original Gulf War Dessert Storm in 91. I think today of my cousin Craig who is currently on active duty on a war ship with the Navy. Walking through the battle fields of The Somme was a significant point in my life. Lest we not forget :- They shall grow not old as we are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning- We will remember them. Xxx
