So very, very disappointed in Vegan Treats from Bethlehem, PA. Theyre choosing to refer to animal ingredients as controversial and as optional for vegans. They sell desserts to vegan-friendly restaurants under the guise of their being 100% vegan-friendly. Denises experience with them where they attempted to decceive her, their downplaying of their choosing to use animal ingredients and the fact that they attempt to continue to do so and to justify their doing so? Its a sad betrayal. Right now theyre deceiving vegans (and those two ingredients were just the ones that Denise actually spotted). But that they intend to justify it on their website? It will confuse new vegans or the general public into thinking that some forms of animal use are A-OK for the sake of convenience and human pleasure. Please leave a comment on their Facebook page or email them. If your local vegan restaurant carries their desserts, please pass this information on to them.
