So we came home from Championships to start the winters work, and apparently mine is to learn to sit correctly. Im having to make what Peter tells me are very small changes in my position and balance, but its amazing how changing anything completely discombobulates you. I can no longer sit the trot; I dont DARE try to canter, and I feel as though Im going to fall off the horse at any moment. Bless my dear mare, who trots around on a long rein like a school horse (a big, powerful school horse!). Anybody have any advice on how not to lose my mind while Im going back to the beginning and redoing everything AGAIN?
