So we did it.... faced our fears and did for the greater good!! We donated our blood! I learnt a few things about myself tonight: 1) Not only do I have the worlds smallest hands and feet... apparently I have the worlds smallest veins *sigh* 2) blood pressure read on one arm is vastly different from my other arm??!! The lady was perplexed but i explained that i am special! 3) whilst Im giving by nature... Im a bit stingy with my blood... but we got there after some coaxing!! 4) Not only do I have brave team mates, Ella Toovey and Joeleen Bennett are heros too... between the 3 of us - we just saved 9 other peoples lives tonight!! Not bad for a Tuesday night! Photographic evidence and nominations are coming, but for now I am going to bask in my pale awesomeness.
